If you want to maintain a healthy weight loss, you have to make your regular haunts supportive to your goals and that means, you’re probably going to need to make some changes around here!
First things first – if it’s not there, you won’t eat it!
Get the junk out of your life!
If you live with people who can’t or won’t give up the junk food, can you have them put it somewhere out of sight… in a specific cabinet that you won’t go in?
Next – if it’s there, you WILL eat it.
So make sure it’s supportive!
Stock your kitchen with the good stuff – fruits, veggies, lean protein, whatever it is that is your long-term plan to eat while keeping the weight off – make sure it’s there and visible.
I keep a big bowl of delicious fruit on the kitchen counter – easy to just grab and go!
Also – the way you shop, may have to change.
Fresh foods don’t last as long as processed junk.
You may have to shop more often.
Find a veggie stand on your way home from work so you can stop in and quickly replenish your stocks every few days.
Make it easy – a little prep can go a long way.
If you have some walking shoes under your desk at work it’ll be a lot easier to pop out for a lunchtime walk.
Packing a lunch means you never have to agonize over bad fast food options.
You preparing to be healthy with supportive food, puts you miles ahead of where you’ve been!
