In a world ruled by perfection, everyone would wake up early every day and go about their morning schedules. Waking up would be as easy as handling the problems of the day. However, our world is not perfect; in fact, we live in a world of hectic early morning schedules after which getting to work on time is a Herculean task. Still, many of us manage.

Reduce your evening obligations:
All you need to do is to return home an hour earlier than before. Absolutely refuse any light night events so that you continue to follow your schedule.
Be consistent about sleeping and waking early:
If you want to be an early riser, you need to trim your waking time by an hour or so too. Rise and sleep at the same time each day so that your body’s circadian rhythms work regularly and help you sleep easily. To achieve this, set an alarm or use a Fitbit.
After a good night’s sleep, your body metabolism and blood sugar are craving for food, so you need to eat a good breakfast. Eating proteins will help achieve whatever your body desires. You can try eating yogurt, some veggies and any grains. Top it up with a cup of coffee made with soya or fortified milk.
Sleep in a cool room:
Ensure that the temperature of your room does not exceed 65֯ F. This helps you in various ways, but chiefly because a fall in temperature means that, your body is telling you to relax. So, go ahead and stay cool.
Fill the air with aromatherapy oil:
The healing powers of aromatherapy oils help to find the perfect balance among body, mind and spirit. So, spray them into the air or rub them on various pressure points so that you relax and sleep well. Try jasmine, lavender and chamomile for best results.
Is your bedroom pitch dark?
Keep out as much light as possible so that you are not distracted by it and can sleep well. Researchers have found that not only can you sleep well in a darkened room but you also fall asleep easily. If you like, you could wear an eye mask or blackout shades to keep out unnecessary light while in the bedroom.
No electronics in bed:
Before you go to bed, ensure that you have kept all the gadgets away from it. This will prevent you from constantly checking your mobile phone for mail and missed calls. Research concludes that the blue light that emanates from our phones and the screens of electronic gadgets misinforms our circadian rhythms that it is time to get out of bed. However, if you have trouble dropping off to sleep, read a book, meditate or drink a cup of cocoa or coffee or do whatever relaxes you.
By incorporating some changes in your daily routine, you can become a morning person much faster than you thought it was possible.
