The 7 Phases of Becoming SUPER Fit – Phase 2: The UPHILL Battle
You’ve made the decision to make fitness and healthy eating a part of your everyday lifestyle.
Now comes the uphill battle.
As we discussed before in Level 1, you will have to ignore those excuses, and move past the “I’m too sore,” “I’m too tired,” “I don’t feel good,” “I’m too busy,” all those negative things that are going to come up and try to prevent you from working out and getting to your goal.
In this level, we’ll dive deeper into the uphill battle and discuss the 3 specific battles that you’ll be facing as you continue your journey for becoming super fit.
The 3 battles:
• The Physical
• The Emotional
• The Mental
So in this article, we’re going to talk about what to expect for each of these battles and how to best combat them.
To become stronger, you’re going to put demand and stress on your body that causes your muscle fibers to break down, rebuild and become stronger than before.
You WILL feel sore & uncomfortable, so expect it and GET OVER IT. In fact, look forward to it because that pain is what will make you a better and stronger version of yourself.
This single resource has the power to keep you in the game or force you to quit and give up.
There WILL come a time where you may feel insecure, embarrassed, frustrated, angry or some other negative emotion.
I’m inviting you to use that emotion to PUSH you forward! If you’re embarrassed because you feel like you don’t fit in, then ALL the more reason for you to keep going!
This battle may be the most challenging.
Simply because this involves self-discipline, and dedication especially when no one is looking! Your mental strength may be tested in the form of food, or just as simple as deciding to go workout even when you don’t feel like it.
DO IT ANYWAY and believe me, you’ll be glad you did!

• Will you come up with excuses not to go exercise? YES
• Will you be better off if you just stay the course? DAMN SKIPPY!
