Welcome to my new Instagram inspiration series, lovingly dubbed:
Grab your phone because these are people you will want to follow!! Bring on the motivation!
This month – these lovely ladies know a thing or two about Yoga (and swoon-worthy photography!)
Brittany fully embodies the yoga lifestyle and her Instagram is not only super inspiring, it is visually impeccable!
Brittany spends most of her time in the Bahamas where she and her husband free-dive and host yoga retreats in an ocean lover’s paradise. Her underwater yoga photos are insane!
Brittany says, “There is an ebb and flow, physical and subtle, micro and macro, reaching and grounding, dark and light side to everything. Yoga taught and continues to teach me to embrace both poles.”
If you ask me, it’s time to book that retreat to the Bahamas for a little balance on the beach!
I follow Brittany because she is constantly reminding me to grow, to try and to appreciate all that this life and this Earth has to offer.
MacKenzie is an amazingly confident-in-her-skin woman who isn’t afraid to get a little silly.
Plus, she’s a total yoga badass.
Every time I scroll past one of her incredible arm balances, I am inspired to get off my butt and onto my mat.
MacKenzie also does a lot of traveling, which makes for an ever changing backdrop for her amazing yoga skills.
She says, “My body has taught me that with patience, persistence and a lot of love all will come. I’ve learned to see myself in others and that gives me the peace to know that I’m enough as is, in this very moment. Choosing love is my motto and I have yoga to thank for that”.
I follow MacKenzie because she motivates me to try poses I might not otherwise try and to embrace the full purpose of a yoga practice.
She is a great role model for self-confidence and I love that she openly shares her goofy side with her followers!
Naya has one of the most consistently beautiful Instagram accounts around.
Not only is she aware of her body and how to move, she also is a fantastic photographer! Both a dancer and a yoga-holic, Naya loves being in nature and sharing her adventurous side with her followers.
Naya is fearless in her yoga and her photos always have a whimsical warrior woman feel to them – which I love! She could be the poster woman for female confidence and strength.
She also recently hosted a PDA (public displays of asana) series with other yoga enthusiasts, and encouraged Instagrammers to perform yoga asanas (or poses) in public places – like in front of the coffee shop or on the hood of a car. It was fantastic!
I follow Naya because she is a strong woman who can do yoga in sky high heels, dance topless in the ocean with friends and she oozes feminine awesomeness. Go follow Naya and let go of being shy!
Each of these beautiful ladies inspires me to push myself, to trust myself and to enjoy the balance of life through yoga.
