PR: I LOVE Converse Shoes for Lifting Weights!

My absolute favorite shoes to lift in are CONVERSE Chuck Taylor, to be specific!

If you follow me on any of my social media platforms you know that’s what I live in and lift in.

But there really is a reason behind it.

The flat base found in Converse is absolutely perfect for being able to push off with your heels, very important when squatting.

Really though any shoe with a flat base is great for training legs.

Some people even do it barefoot or with just socks on!

Converse through are stylish too, probably why I see many of them at the gym.

Not just women, but men too!

High tops, low tops, every kind!

I am guilty of having at least 10 pairs of them… I have a slight addiction.

However, they are not for everyone.

Make sure you try out different options and see what works best for YOU, we don’t all have the same feet.

Just remember to really look for a flat base and what comforts your foot the most.

Some others I recommend for squatting include the Vibram Five Fingers or some from New Balance as well since these basically mimic barefoot and would work equally as well.

What’s your shoe of choice?
