Bear with me because this is so random.
I’m sitting here at the crib and I’m like,
“Damn, I’ve got too many freaking kids. I’ll probably miss the gym tonight on daddy duty.”
When I say I’ve got too many kids, what I really mean is, I’ve got too many still in diapers.
So in between trips to the refrigerator to get milk and the trash can to dump dirty diapers it comes to me.
I look at my 5 year old and I say to myself, “she’s at least 40lbs” (totally guessing here).
My 7 month old is maybe 18lbs.
My year and a half old probably teetering on the side of 25lbs.
You see where I’m going here?
I ask myself if I’m cutting or bulking.
Okay, I’m taking this too serious, but seriously…
The 5-year-old could be used for skull crushers and shoulders presses.
I get my needed workout all the while she’s stockpiling memories of all the fun times spent playing with dad.
I feel like a Jedi.
Why didn’t I think of this earlier?
The little ones can definitely be used for bicep curls.
This alone time is not going to be as bad as I initially feared.
You’re reading this and you’re thinking to yourself, “how sad is this guy?!?”
Well, you’re wrong.
I’m not sad.
I live to workout.
Sure, I could be sharing sippy cups with the toddler and playing tea party with the 5-year-old, but I’ve masterminded a plan on doing both.
Don’t judge me. Join me.
This is definitely reason enough to celebrate with a protein shake.
Fitness is not always thought out.
Sometimes it’s super random.
