Vitamin Power!

As a kid, I can remember taking my chalk-tasting Flintstones vitamins every day.

Although the taste wasn’t great…

I still kept up with it thanks to my health-nut mom.

Unfortunately, as I got older, I became so inconsistent with taking vitamins that for the most part I wasn’t taking any.

I also wasn’t feeling the best and became tired and sluggish all the time.

After a visit with my doctor, I realized that I probably wasn’t meeting my daily quota of necessary vitamins. After all, who has time to count how many veggies and fruits they eat all day and then measure how much of each vitamin was in each veggie or fruit?

I know I didn’t, and my guess is you probably don’t either.

Just like your mom used to remind you to eat your veggies, so too will I remind you to


Don’t be fooled by brands advertising 1000% of things either. You only need a 100% of the daily recommendation for vitamins.

Anything more and you’re just going to flush (or pee really) the rest out.

To help you out, I’ve decided to highlight my favorite brand, which I personally love and swear by:

Alive Max Potency (No Iron Added) Multivitamin!

Unlike some other vitamins on the market, these don’t contain any synthetic dyes, colors or caffeine.

Instead, you’ll find all your necessary vitamins like

• A, C, D, E, and K
• But you’ll also find biotin (for hair and nails),
• 8 B vitamins,
• A proprietary blend of an Orchard Fruit Blend, and a
• A Garden Veggie Blend.

In the Orchard blend, the makers of these vitamins combined pomegranate, acai, plum, cranberry, blueberry, strawberry, blackberry, bilberry, cherry, apricot, papaya, orange, grape and pineapple.


In the Garden veggie blend, you’ll find a mix of parsley, kale, spinach, wheat grass, Brussels sprouts, asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, beet, carrot, cabbage and garlic.

I do have to warn you though:
